Friday night I went to two of my friends, from my class, sleepover party. Almost all of the girls from class came to have a bunch of fun. When we were all pretty with some mascara, we went downstairs to hang out. We heard music and danced around, having tons of fun. For dinner, we got "nachos", chips with meat, cheese, guacamole, salsa and sour cream. It was really good. After dinner, we went back downstairs with some more chips and chocolate and cranked up the music. It was really fun! In the morning, we all got up and had breakfast and took our time hanging out. Later, Mom drove up to get me. If I didn't have to go to another party, I could have just walked or bicycled home being that the distance is so minimal. I jumped in the car and we drove to party number two...
This party was for Sophie from riding's, thirteenth birthday. The plan was that we would go ice skating. When we got to Sophie's house, I met some of Sophie's friends from school. I was a bit nervous, not knowing them, but it got better throughout the party. Instead of going ice skating (it's a long story, but to shorten it down, the rink was closed), we went to Fisketorvet, in Copenhagen, to eat brunch and see a movie. We drove out there and parked. We had fun going up the flat escalators and looking in shop windows. We had brunch and candy and went to the movie theatre. We saw "Captain America 2". I thought that it was violent, but very exciting and well made. When we were done, we drove back to Sophie's and hung out until Mom came to pick me up.
Sounds like fun, you party-hopper, you! Question: when I lived in Italy all of the American movies were dubbed into Italian? Do Danes dub the American movies, too?
ReplyDeleteI think that is great you can expand your circle of friends. Does Sophie know any other American kids ? I'm sure her friends had questions for you. Or did they think you are just another Dane like themselves because they couldn't detect an accent ...?
ReplyDeleteWow! That's sounds like a lot of fun!! Thats too bad that you couldn't go ice-skating, but it sounds like you still had a lot of fun!!
