It has been snowing the past few days. An on/off snow. It comes, melts and comes again. The weather has been a very fun experience. The first day that it snowed a lot, the whole school went down to the field outside of my classroom and had a huge snowball fight. It was all for one and it did get pretty scary when the 9th graders would come up to you and give you a face wash. Good that it didn't happen to me! All my friends laughed at me that I haven't experienced a snow white winter before and at the same time, they told me that they were jealous. Supposedly, they want to walk on the beach in shorts on Christmas Eve...
Stella and I had fun throwing snowballs at each other on the way to school. We each had our share of snowballs hitting us right and left. We also made snowmen. They turned out super cute!
Here are some more snow pictures
Looks like wonderful winter fun. You aren't kidding about wearing shorts on the beach on Christmas Eve. It's the middle of January and it's been in the mid to high 70s. We're hoping for rain!
ReplyDeleteWe spent Saturday afternoon at the beach and it was more crowded than it would ever be in summer on the Monterey Peninsula! Gabe desperately wants to see snow, but there isn't any yet anywhere here...
ReplyDeleteLooks like wet, sticky snow there. Great for snowballs and snowmen. Like the photos of in-mid-air snowballs. Hope you mom had her special anti snowball filter on her camera! Yes, it's WARM here, strangely warm, August in mid-winter. Know any rain dances?
ReplyDeleteSorry, no rain dances I know.... Stella got Mom's camera a couple times, but it survived...

Brrrrrrr. Thanks for the great snaps Danya ! It looks cold. I hope you get a chance to ice skate soon.
ReplyDeleteI hope that you all soon get rain. The snow has been a lot of fun, but on the way to school, I sometimes wish for sun. We have all been loving the snowmen and the snowball fights... Viking style!
