All day- well, almost. Everyone seems to be in a mood today; sometimes happy, though most sad.
I am really excited to go and experience being a Dane for a year, but I'm REALLY going miss all of my friends. I have never been a new kid at school, besides kindergarten and it will be a big change for me.
To sum it all up, while being completely honest, I feel so small and scared- even more than on the first day of school or going to an audition or even riding a bike for the first time.

I am remembering when I, too, packed up to move to another country for a year. I vacillated between wanting to bring everything familiar and comfortable to wanting to get everything new (and Italian). In the end, I reached a balance and knew that if I needed anything from home, friends would send it to me. Just know that we are only an email away if you find that you really, really want something from here that you can't get there.
